As reported by the Informant, if your home was damaged again during the Russian shelling or attack, it is now possible to submit a new claim for compensation under the YeRecovery program through the Diya mobile application. It is possible to do this even in the case when repairs are already being carried out according to a previous application. Previously, the owner of a damaged home had to complete the restoration, send a report and wait for the previous application to be closed – only after that could a new one be submitted. This slowed down new payments. From now on, you can make another application right away – just by registering fresh injuries.
How to do it:
The commission will come only once to examine the new damage, determine the level of current destruction, calculate the amount of compensation, and close the previous application. Before submitting a new request, make sure that the card is already closed. If not, the system will notify you. Unused funds will return to the state budget. To get paid for a new application, open a new account.
About 145,000 families have already received compensation for the total amount of more than UAH 51 billion as part of the eRecovery program. Of these, more than 116,000 families received payments for damaged housing in the total amount of UAH 11.3 billion.
