US Defense Defense will apply Shi agents to model war

The US Department of Defense will apply Shi agents to model clashes with foreign opponents. To do this, the defense innovation unit has concluded a contract with the company Scale Ai.

As part of the cooperation, they plan to develop a ThunderForge SI platform designed to improve the efficiency of decision-making on the battlefield.

This is the first attempt of the Ministry of Defense to integrate Shi agents into military processes to assist the commander-in-chief, according to Scale AI.

The implementation of the project is planned in cooperation with Anduril and Microsoft. The first introduces large language models (LLM) from Scale AI into its Lattice simulation infrastructure to improve mission planning.
