“Ukraine will by no means win the war”: a harsh statement by a European official

The head of the Ministry of Defense of Italy, Guido Crozetto declared that only the one who started it is capable of ending the war in Ukraine. According to his statements, Ukraine has none opportunities to win the war, and now her key task is simply to hold on, Clash Report reports.

Crozetto expressed his own opinion on the possibility of ending the conflict in Ukraine, stressing that only the one who initiated military actions can end them. He alluded to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, stressing that Italy, Ukraine, Europe and NATO did not provoke the war. He added that only the party that started it can decide whether it ends.

“Italy did not start this war, Ukraine did not start this war, Europe did not start this war, NATO did not start this war. Someone started it and only that person can finish it or not finish it tomorrow,” Crosetto said.

He also noted that since the full-scale invasion in 2022, Russian forces have captured only about one and a half percent of the territory of Ukraine, but this was achieved at the cost of thousands of human lives every day.
