As reported by the Ministry of Finance, the tranche consists of $567 million guaranteed by the government of Japan and $483 million guaranteed by the government of Great Britain.

“The raised funds will be aimed at increasing the potential of economic development and financing the priority social and humanitarian expenditures of the state budget of Ukraine. We are grateful to the World Bank, Japan and Great Britain for the substantial support of the state budget in this difficult period”, – noted Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko.

It is noted that the goal of the DPL project is to support the implementation of reforms in Ukraine. Yes, Ukraine receives the corresponding tranche based on the results of implementing the requirements of the program.

The Ministry of Finance emphasized that prior to the allocation of this tranche, results had been achieved to ensure sustainable growth in the areas of customs and tax policy, fight against corruption, support of state-owned enterprises, development of the private sector and logistics infrastructure.

International financial assistance – the latest newsOn December 23, Ukraine received the seventh tranche of about $1.1 billion from the IMF as part of the four-year Enhanced Financing Facility (EFF) program. On December 20, the Foundation’s Executive Board approved the sixth revision of the EFF program.

In 2025, Ukraine will receive about $38 billion in external international financial aid, such a forecast was voiced by Vasyl Furman, a member of the board of the National Bank of Ukraine. He also informed that, according to the forecasts of the NBU, the growth of the Ukrainian economy in 2025 will be 4.3%.
