The President instructed the Prosecutor General no take no action on the TikTok ban for 75 days to give the Trump administration a chance to determine how to protect national security while avoiding a sudden shutdown of the communications platform used by millions.

The president decided to cancel or revise almost 80 decisions of his predecessor, Joe Biden. Among them are regulations on pollution from exhaust pipes of passenger cars and trucks. Trump also rescinded an executive order signed by Joe Biden in 2023 that aimed to reduce the risks artificial intelligence poses to consumers, workers and national security.

Biden’s order to remove Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism was also canceled. At the same time, Trump canceled sanctions imposed by the Biden administration against far-right groups of Israeli settlers and individuals for committing violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Trump also rescinded a 2021 executive order signed by Biden that aimed to ensure that half of all new cars sold in 2030 would be electric.

Trump ordered commutations of 14 people convicted of crimes related to the events that occurred at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and granted full, final and unconditional pardons to all others convicted of crimes related to the events that occurred at the Capitol or nearby on this day in 2021.

The president declared a state of emergency on the southern border of the United States. According to him, the border is occupied by cartels, criminal groups, known terrorists, human traffickers, smugglers who harm Americans. He emphasized that he has an obligation to ensure that the illegal entry of foreigners into the United States through the southern border is immediately and completely stopped.

With his executive order declaring an energy emergency, Trump emphasized that the integrity and expansion of the US energy infrastructure is an urgent priority to protect the nation’s national and economic security.

Trump signed decrees on the withdrawal of the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as on the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement.
With his decree, Trump proposed to the Senate his candidates for the positions of ministers, as well as heads of state services. According to one of the decisions, a new Department of Government Efficiency is being created in the United States. The initiative is called DOGE for short.

In addition, Trump signed an executive order to stop working from home for federal employees. According to the document, the heads of all departments and agencies of the executive branch of government must take all necessary measures as soon as possible to “stop remote work” and “require employees to return to their workplaces on full-time basis.” At the same time, the heads of departments and agencies are allowed to make exceptions to this rule that they consider necessary.

Trump also signed an executive order suspending all US foreign aid programs for 90 days pending reviews to determine whether they meet his policy goals.
