To silence what Russia kills children is wrong and dangerous, because it only incrts Russians for new war crimes. President Vladimir Zellensky stated this in his evening video.
– Today, after the Russian blow to Kryvyi Rih in the city, they do everything possible to save people. Some of the wounded – especially difficult – sent to the Dnieper. Doctors try to save as much lives as possible. I thank everyone who is involved in this work, to all who arrived on the call and who helps now. This blow is one of the most black pages for Kryvyi. Unfortunately, 18 people were killed, 9 of them were children. The least 3 years. My condolences to all my loved ones, ”the President said.
He also noted that many in the world have declared their position after this blow – the position of clear rejection of Russian terror.
– To be silent that it is Russia that kills children with balistics – it is wrong, it is dangerous. It only incite the scum in Moscow to continue the war and continue to ignore diplomacy. Weakness has never ended the war. Therefore, I am grateful to every country, whose representatives have expressed: leaders, ministers of foreign affairs, embassies, – the address reads.
The President stressed that not only in Kryvyi Rih will be announced the days of mourning for the dead. Ukrainian cities, villages in the support of Kryvyi Rih.
– From the Dnieper and Kharkiv to Uzhgorod, from Odessa to Kiev – all regions, all regional centers and many communities – show their solidarity and honor the memory of the dead. I thank everyone for this absolutely right emotion – the emotion of support and unity that strengthens our whole state. And also separately I want to thank everyone and everyone whose heart has felt pain and anger because of what happened, – said the guarantor.
- On April 5, the head of the regional military administration Sergey Lisak reported that 38 victims remain in hospitals. Among the hospitalized are six children and most of them are in serious condition.
- On April 5, the authorities of Kryvyi Rih of Dnipropetrovsk region announced a three -day mourning for the victims of the Russian blow.
