The woman received state social assistance for low -income families. During checking It was found that the woman provided false data on her fortune during the appeals of 02.11.2018, 05.05.2019, 01.11.2019 and 06.05.2020, namely, did not indicate the presence of a second car. It is obliged to return 84 826 UAH. This is stated in the decision of the Khortytsia District Court of Zaporizhzhia, published on September 23, 2025.

The woman was registered at the Department of Social Protection of the Population of Zaporizhzhya City Council and received state social assistance for low -income families. On November 2, 2018, she applied to the Office for Appointment of All Types of Social Assistance, Compensation and Benefits to receive state social assistance to low -income families. In section IV, the Declaration “Information on vehicles registered in due course and owned or owned by family members …” she noted the absence of vehicles in possession. On the basis of the application dated 02.11.2018 and the documents provided, it was assigned and paid state social assistance in the amount of 4 636 hryvnias a month, and from 01.12.2018, due to the increase in the subsistence minimum – 4 814 UAH per month. Further, 06.05.2019, 01.11.2019, 06.05.2020, the woman again addressed the new statements and declarations and received state social assistance to low -income families in the future periods. Section IV of Declarations “Information on vehicles registered in due course and owned or owned by family members …” indicated that in 2007 the existence of a car of the brand “Deo” in its possession. With her signature in statements and declarations, she confirmed that she had been acquainted with a warning about the possibility of refusing to assign or terminate the payment of state social assistance, as well as to return excess accrued funds in case of submission of incomplete or false information on income and property.

According to the act of 05.02.2021, the specialists of the department conducted a verification of the accuracy and completeness of information provided by the applicants for the appointment of state social assistance to low -income families. During this process, it was found out that the woman at appeals on 02.11.2018, 06.05.2019, 01.11.2019 and 06.05.2020 provided unreliable information about her property status, namely did not indicate the presence of the second car. According to the data from the Unified State Register of Vehicles, it has been registered: from 07.12.2017 the ZAZ-Daewoo car (contract of sale and purchase of TK №6982/17/000104 of 07.12.2017), from 26.09.2018 Audi car September 26, 2018). Thus, having received a corresponding message for the sign of the need to provide complete and reliable information both at the time of appeal on 02.11.2018, and during further appeals on 06.05.2019, 01.11.2019 and 06.05.2020, she did not declare that there was more than one assistance in its possession. Budget funds. According to the calculation, the amount of over -paid funds to the defendant for the period from 01.11.2018 to 31.07.2020 is 96 942 hryvnia. In the expense of repayment of debt from the charges, which were assigned and paid to it in the subsequent periods until August 2024, 12 115 hryvnias were withheld. The balance of overpayment at the time of filing a full application was 84 826 UAH.
