This is reported by Gutovska & Partners, informs UAINFO.org.
The property, valued at around £4 million, was sold last week as part of the defendant’s bankruptcy.
It will be recalled that in 2020, WWRT obtained the seizure of the assets of the Tyshchenkos in the amount of 65 million pounds in the High Court of London.
Olga Gutovska, managing partner of Gutovska & Partners and the owner of the majority stake in WWRT, commented on the sale: “I am grateful for the painstaking work of my colleagues. This estate is known to the general public from the investigations of Ukrainian Pravda journalist Serhiy Leshchenko at the time. It is a rather large building in a prestigious area, with a tennis court and a swimming pool. I remember how surprised we were when the defendants decided to show off estate, inviting Times journalists to it at a time when a forced eviction was imminent. The new owner plans to completely reconstruct this artifact of corruption. I am only glad when successful, ambitious people buy estates, cars and other luxury items. is the result of hard work and the realization of talent and intelligence, but no one has the right to luxuriate with stolen funds. We work hard and will continue to work for debt collection, real implementation of legal norms in the market economy in countries moving towards democracy and market relations, in particular in Ukraine”.
