The military unit driver in the Kirovograd region cooperated with the FSB. This was reported on May 27 by the SBU.
-According to the investigation, the person involved in the field of view of the invaders as the author of anti-Ukrainian comments in telegrams. During the recruitment, the Russian special service promised him the money he never received, – said in the press service.
According to the case file, a 32-year-old military unit driver in the Kirovograd region adjusts Russia’s air attacks on Central region of Ukraine.
– As the investigation established, the traitor collected the coordinates of the hospitals of the defense forces and other medical institutions in which Ukrainian soldiers were treated. In addition, he “poured” into the FSB routes of the movement of units of his military unit in the direction of the front, as well as the types of their weapons, – said in the special service.
After completing the tasks, the man hoped for “evacuation” to the temporarily captured part of Donetsk region, where he planned to join the occupation groups of the Russian Federation and fight against Ukraine.
He was detained by the SBU’s military counterintelligence with the assistance of the Armed Forces Commander.
– The SBU’s military counterintelligence disrupted the traitor’s plans and detained it on hot when he conducted a visual reconnaissance near the military facility. At the scene of the detainee, a phone was removed with evidence of work on the enemy. Before detention, the Security Service conducted special deposits to protect the locations of defense forces, – it is said in the press release.
Investigators of the SBU reported the military of a suspicion of treason, committed in the state of martial law. He is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
