The property of the distillery of the “BRSM-Nafta” gas station chain was seized – it failed to pay UAH 5 billion in taxes, – the court’s decision

“Fastivsky Zavod Organic Solvents” (“FaZOR”), which is associated with BRSM, failed to pay UAH 5 billion in taxes for 3 years. The court seized the company’s property and production facilities. This is reported by enkorr with reference to the decision of the Shevchenkiv District Court. Kyiv.

“FaZOR”, which is included in the orbit of the “BRSM” group, was involved in the illegal production and sale of alcohol, which led to the loss of the state budget of almost UAH 5 billion in taxes. This is evidenced by the decision of the Shevchenkiv District Court of the city of Kyiv, by which the property of the plant and its production facilities were seized,” enkorr reports.

According to the investigation materials, the journalists note, in the period from 2021 to 2023, FaZOR produced ethyl alcohol and other excise goods without a production license and without registration as an excise tax payer. In addition, the enterprise carried out illegal storage and sale of alcohol, provided false information in documents, passing excise goods as duty-free.

“By entering in the official documents of the company knowingly false information regarding the implementation of business operations for the sale of denatured ethyl alcohol under the guise of “Ethanol as a component of gasoline”, they deliberately evaded the payment of excise tax in the total amount of 4,869,084,175, 256 hryvnias,” says the case file.

In this regard, at the request of the representative of the General Prosecutor’s Office, documents, products and production facilities of the plant were seized, notes enkorr.

As reported by enkorr, on December 25, detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security conducted searches at the production facilities of FaZOR. About 120 tons of finished products and financial and economic documents were discovered and seized there.

According to “NaftoRynku” data received in response to a request to the “BRSM-Nafta” gas station network, “six companies are involved in the production, import and wholesale and retail sale of petroleum products within the “BRSM” group”, in particular “FAZOR” LLC.
