The Ministry of Defense approved the admission of the Ukrainian-made Shchedryk unmanned aerial system for use in units of the Defense Forces. The complex is designed to monitor the actions of the enemy on the battlefield and is capable of working both during the day and at night. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
– The capabilities of the aircraft and its optical equipment make it possible to work from a difficult-to-reach height for most anti-aircraft fire weapons of the enemy’s defense, said Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.
According to the information of the Main Directorate for Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment, the Shchedryk complex includes a control station and remotely controlled drones. These devices are equipped with silent electric motors and have increased resistance to radio-electronic interference. New drones are able to perform tasks in conditions of strong wind, low temperatures and heat. Their batteries ensure long-term autonomous operation.
