The interbank exchange rate for the dollar on January 1, 2025 is set at UAH 42.04/42.07/dollar. / UNIAN collage, UNIAN photoOn Wednesday, January 1, 2025, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 42.03/dollar, i.e. the hryvnia strengthened by 1 kopeck compared to the previous indicator.As for the European currency, the hryvnia significantly strengthened its position. According to the data on the website of the regulator, the official exchange rate of the euro for Wednesday is set at 43.69 hryvnias for one euro, i.e. the hryvnia increased immediately by 24 kopecks.
On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 4:00 p.m., hryvnia to dollar quotes were set at UAH 42.04/42.07/dollar, and the euro at UAH 43.70/43.72/euro.
Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest news In Kyiv exchange offices, the dollar rate this morning was UAH 42.50/dollar, and the dollar could be sold for UAH 42.35. The exchange rate of the euro in cash today is 44.40 hryvnias/euro, and the selling rate is 44.15 hryvnias/euro.
The dollar exchange rate at “PrivatBank” on December 31 increased by 15 kopecks and is UAH 42.40 per dollar. The euro rate has risen by 5 kopecks and is UAH 44.40 per euro. You can sell American currency in the bank at the rate of UAH 41.80, and euros at the rate of UAH 43.40 per unit of foreign currency.
Taras Lesovy, head of the treasury department of Globus Bank, believes that the dollar exchange rate will fluctuate in 2025, but the hryvnia may gradually weaken to the level of 46-47 UAH/dollar.
