According to the data on the website of the regulator, the official exchange rate of the euro for Monday is set at 43.37 hryvnias for one euro, that is, the hryvnia has decreased by 5 kopecks.
On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 4:00 p.m., hryvnia to dollar quotes were set at UAH 42.08/42.11/dollar, euro – UAH 43.30/43.31/euro.
Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest news The dollar to hryvnia exchange rate at “PrivatBank” on Friday, January 17, decreased by 10 kopecks and is 42.70 hryvnias per dollar. The euro exchange rate in the bank today fell by 15 kopecks to UAH 44.15 per euro. You can sell American currency in the bank at the rate of UAH 42.10, euro – at the rate of UAH 43.15 per unit of foreign currency.
Under favorable military and economic circumstances, the hryvnia may be pegged to the euro no earlier than 2028. This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the board of “Globus Bank” Serhii Mamedov. According to him, for the time being, the US dollar will not be abandoned as the exchange rate-forming currency.
