At the moment, there is no shortage of medicines in Ukraine. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Health Edem Adamanov during the telethon broadcast of “Yedini Novyni”.

– On the night of October 25, a Russian attack destroyed the office premises and warehouse complex of one of the country’s largest pharmaceutical distributors in Kyiv. Currently, the company is launching an alternative reserve warehouse, which will take over the volumes of supply provided by the destroyed areas. Other distributors are also changing their logistics ways to ensure uniform deliveries across the country, Adamanov stated.

According to him, the Ministry of Health, the State Medical Service, pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers and pharmacy chains are constantly coordinating actions in order to promptly respond to needs and guarantee the availability of medicines in the necessary regions.

– The priority of delivery is vital medical supplies: antibiotics, insulins, anti-cancer drugs, – he added.

  • On October 25, Russian troops fired ballistic missiles at Kyiv, resulting in casualties and injuries.
  • Reporter Briefly about wrote that since October 2025, medicines for oncological diseases, including exemestane, letrozole, and tamoxifen, have been included in the “Affordable Medicines” program.
  • On September 29, the Ministry of Health informed that in Ukraine they simplified the procedure for the sale of medicines at medical centers and improved access to medicines in remote areas.
