The Government has simplified the design of passports for men 18-60 years abroad

For the registration of passports abroad, men 18-60 years no longer need to provide a military account. This was reported by Viceremer-Minister of Ukraine-Minister of National Unity Alexei Chernyshov.

– Officially: simplified the procedure for registration of a passport abroad! Today, the Government has approved changes to the procedure for implementing the experimental project on automatic verification and checking information about conscripts, conscripts and reservists, which, in particular, They relate to the rules of registration of passport documents. This applies to men aged 18-60 who are outside Ukraine, ”he wrote on Facebook.

Chernyshov explained that there is no need to physically present a military accounting document. Employees of foreign units of the state enterprise “Document” will check the status of military accounting in the register.

– If there is no data in the registry, they will be entered automatically. Men will be registered with the formation of a military accounting document in electronic form, without the need to undergo medical commission,-the minister said.

The Presidential Office’s website noted that the government’s decision simplifies men’s registration abroad. From now on, they will be able to receive passports and other documents, beyond Ukraine, without visiting the CCC and passing the Military Medical Commission. It is not necessary to have a reserve+application.

The deputy head of the Presidential Office Irina Vereshchuk reported that the vast majority of passports have already been issued to those who applied until April 24, 2024.

– These are tens of thousands of people. Those who have turned later or go now will be given passports easier and faster. This is what the resolution approved today is directed, ”she commented.

Chernyshov added that this is important for Ukrainians abroad, because thousands of citizens have been forced outside Ukraine, and now they will be able to issue or update their passport.

– This simplifies access to legitimate stay abroad, work, training and use of services, and also allows you to keep in touch with the state, – he summed up.
