Ukraine launched a missile attack on a warehouse with “shaheds” in the Oryol region of Russia. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the evening of January 26.
– The results and extent of damage are being clarified, but it is known in advance that more than 200 “shaheds” will no longer be used against our country, – said in the telegram channel of the General Staff.
The strike was carried out on the warehouses for the storage of attack UAVs. Concrete structures where thermobaric warheads, which are used for drones, were stored, were hit. There is information about a strong secondary detonation. The strike was carried out by units of the Air Force in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces. The General Staff did not specify when exactly the airstrike was carried out.
On December 28, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported that on December 26, the Air Force struck a protected facility of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Oryol region. As a result of the fire damage, the warehouse for the storage, maintenance and repair of Shahed kamikaze drones, which consisted of a series of concrete protected structures, was destroyed.
