The first Vesespicker of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Kornienko headed the updated composition of the KPI Supervisory Board. The People’s Deputy himself reported on June 4 on June 4.
– I am honored to inform that I was appointed chairman of the KPI Supervisory Board. This is an extremely responsible mission. And at the same time – very personal, – he wrote.
Kornienko noted that he spent a third of life in the walls of KPI – studied, “formed as a professional and as a citizen.” According to the People’s Deputy, the system of higher Education of Ukraine and the University in particular are facing “serious challenges”. These are war, demographic changes, EU integration, artificial intelligence.
The previous composition of the Supervisory Board was headed by the former President of Ukraine (1994–2005) Leonid Kuchma. The KPI reported that the secretary of the updated supervisory board was the press -section of the Kuchma Kuchma Foundation Darka Olifer, the deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board – the founder of the Ajax Systems group of companies Alexander Konotopsky. In addition, Alexander Kamyshyn Advisor to the updated supervisory board included the Advisor to the President of Ukraine on strategic issues.
– It is important that 40% of the composition of the Supervisory Board are KPI graduates (Alexander Kornienko, Alexander Kamyshyn, Alexander Konotop, Mitish Stepan, Olshansky Alexander, Gogotsy Yuri). The composition of the Supervisory Board was updated by 50%, – said in the KPI.
