Since December 2025, after adjustment of the schedule, passengers will be offered concerted transplants for internal flights. In particular, the number of night trains synchronized with European routes will increase.

Additionally, from September 12, 2025, a new route №644/647 will work – Berehove – Borzhava. The composition of the European track of 1435 mm will ensure a direct interaction between the coast and the west – a key transit point for trains to Hungary, including Budapest.

Tickets are available through the mobile application and website of Ukrzaliznytsia, as well as on portals of Hungarian and Slovak railway operators.

European Infrastructure to Uzhgorod Uzhgorod is the first regional center of Ukraine connected to the European Railway Network. The Chop-Uzhhorod track project started in 2024 and was completed in less than a year, despite the military conditions.

“For the first time in modern history, we have created a 22-kilometer section of 1435 mm between Chop and Uzhgorod. This allowed the city to become a cross -border node, from which trains to four European capitals will run from September 12. Ticket sales began on September 5. Today, together with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Educational and Railways, we have officially launched this milestone, ”Alexei Kuleba stressed.

Ukrzaliznytsia expressed gratitude to the European Union, the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) for financing the project. Half of the money was provided by the EU, the other half – the EIB.

“This initiative is only the beginning of the formation of the Euro -transport system in Ukraine. By 2026, we will electrify this site and begin the construction of the track to Lviv, which we plan to complete in 2-3 years. Ukrainian experts struck Europeans with the speed of the project during the war. This proves the ability of Ukraine to effectively use European resources for the convenience of citizens, ” – said the chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia Alexander Pertsovsky.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Finance Oleksandr Kava reported plans for the deployment of Eurocoli in Lviv, Lutsk and Chernivtsi. Ukraine and Poland have also developed the concept of creating a high -speed connection between Kiev and Warsaw to a full -scale invasion. By design, the journey between the capitals will take about 4 hours.
