The interbank exchange rate of the dollar is set at UAH 42.06/42.09/dollar. / UNIAN collage, UNIAN photo, ReutersOn Tuesday, December 31, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 42.04/dollar, i.e. the hryvnia weakened by 10 kopecks compared to the previous rate.As for the European currency, the hryvnia also weakened. According to data on the regulator’s website, the official exchange rate of the euro for Tuesday is set at 43.93 hryvnias for one euro, i.e. the hryvnia dropped by 18 kopecks immediately.
On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 4:00 p.m., hryvnia to dollar quotes were set at UAH 42.06/42.09/dollar, and the euro at UAH 43.96/43.98/euro.
Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest news The cash rate of the dollar to the hryvnia in Ukrainian banks on December 30 increased by 5 kopecks and averaged UAH 42.30 per dollar. You can sell American currency in banks at an average rate of UAH 41.75 per dollar.
On December 30, the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate at “PrivatBank” increased by 5 kopecks and amounted to UAH 42.25 per dollar. The euro exchange rate in the bank increased by 5 kopecks and amounted to UAH 44.35 per euro.
Vitaliy Vavryshchuk, head of the macroeconomic research department of the ICU group, noted that the hryvnia will weaken by no more than 10-12% in 2025. He believes that at the end of next year, the exchange rate should be at the level of 45.7 hryvnias per dollar.
