The dollar rate for card payments at “PrivatBank” on Thursday increased by 17 kopecks to UAH 42.19. The euro exchange rate when paying by card today fell by 39 kopecks to UAH 44.05.
Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest newsOn December 19, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 41.90/dollar, that is, the hryvnia weakened by 7 kopecks, compared to the previous indicator. Thus, the dollar renewed its historical maximum for the third day in a row. The official exchange rate of the euro is set at 43.96 hryvnias for one euro, i.e. the hryvnia lost 5 kopecks.
In Kyiv exchange offices, the dollar rate this morning was UAH 42.14/dollar, and the dollar can be sold for UAH 42.06. The exchange rate of the cash euro in exchange offices is 44.30 UAH/euro, the selling rate is 43.98 UAH/euro.
The head of the treasury department of “Globus Bank” Taras Lesovy noted that from December 16 to 22, the exchange rate will be within the range of 41.4 – 41.8 hryvnias per dollar on the interbank market and 41.5 – 42 hryvnias per dollar on the cash market. Thus, 100 dollars in hryvnias will cost Ukrainians approximately 4,150 – 4,200 hryvnias by December 22, and 1,000 dollars in hryvnias will cost 41,500 – 42,000 hryvnias.
