The analyst warned that wholesale money changers will want to actively capitalize on the additional need of Ukrainians for hryvnias.
According to his forecast, the euro exchange rate will fluctuate within the corridor: acceptance – from 43.30 to 44.20 UAH/euro and sale from 44.30 to 44.50 UAH/euro.
“The rate of acceptance and sale of euros will differ significantly in different exchange networks. Therefore, if it is necessary to carry out currency exchange operations with the euro currency, I strongly advise you to spend an extra 10-15 minutes and go around several exchangers, or immediately use the appropriate mobile applications to choose the optimal a favorable exchange rate for both the surrender of this currency and its purchase,” the expert recommended.
He added that wholesale exchangers (from 1,000 dollars or 1,000 euros) will also want to actively capitalize on the additional need of Ukrainians for hryvnias during the peak season of sales of goods. According to him, that is why they will be more “generous” both in terms of the currency acceptance rate and less “greedy” in terms of the currency sale rate.
“These groups of exchange offices will try to earn as much as possible by increasing the volume of currency exchange transactions they carry out,” Kozyrev summarized.
