After that, the city of Slavutich was left without electricity for a long period of time and switched to alternative power. At the same time, Chernihiv and a large number of settlements of Chernihiv region remained without energy supply. The fact is that the city of Slavutich is geographically located in Chernihiv region, but administratively belongs to the Kiev region.
