The Cabinet hit not Shahed, but part of the rocket – the media

During the night shelling, on September 7, the Cabinet building was not the Dron-Kamikadze “Shahaned”, but the combat module of the Russian winged rocket from the tactical complex “Iskander”, which was not activated. This is determined after studying the defeat fragments of September 8 informed the Defense Express portal, quoting its informative sources.

The fire at the upper levels of the government has caused the fuel from rocket tanks. If the combat part weighing about 450 kg, detonated for Plan, the devastating effects would be much more catastrophic.

The 9M727 rocket is one of the three modifications designed for the Iskander Complex, along with 9m728 and 9M729. They are often identified as Iskander-K or P-500.

9m727 is a terrestrial version of the winged 3M-14 caliber rocket. This type of weapons Russian troops are constantly involved in attacks on Ukrainian cities. The most resonant case of its use is the shelling of the Drama Theater in Chernihiv in 2023.

Like the vast majority of Russian weapons, this rocket has components of European microelectronics of civilian purposes made in the PRC.

According to the Armed Forces APs, nine winged missiles from Iskander complexes were launched during the attack on September 7, four of which were successfully neutralized.
