The operation of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of Russia continues. The Ukrainian military is restraining almost 50,000 Russian soldiers on their territory, preventing them from reaching the front in Ukrainian regions. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in his traditional evening video address.
– Special attention to the Kursk operation. There, our guys hold back quite a lot a group of Russian troops – 50,000 personnel of the occupying army, who, thanks to the Kursk operation, cannot be directed to other directions of Russian attacks on our territory. We greatly appreciate the bravery of all our soldiers, every unit involved in these battles. I also want to note all our forces that strike at Russian bases, logistics, and rear areas. “The strikes of our forces on Russian arsenals have reduced the amount of artillery used by the occupier, and this is noticeable at the front,” Zelenskyi said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine needs far-reaching solutions from its partners – from America, Britain, and Germany. According to him, the farther the missiles that are in the Armed Forces, our drones can hit, the less real combat power Russia will have. Zelenskyi also said that he held the Staff of the Commander-in-Chief, at which a decision was made to further strengthen the defense of the Ukrainian sky.
- On November 11, Zelensky heard a report on the further strengthening of air defense. At Stavka, decisions were made to increase the number of mobile fire groups in regions that are priority targets for Russian terror.
- On November 10, the president said that Russian military facilities are becoming increasingly accessible to Ukrainian drones.
