A new scandal is around the contender for Bab Skomarov’s head. The father of this NABU employee received a passport of the Russian Federation to sell the house and car in the ORDLO under Russian law, and the detective is related to pro -Russian politicians – the defendants of NABU cases. This was reported in an investigation published by “Informant”.

«The contender for the chair of the head of Beb Alexander Skomarov, who works as the head of the NABU detective unit, confirmed that the father has a Russian passport, but as if it seems like He received it for the possibility of leaving the occupied territory of Lugansk region. However, according to media reports and sources, the passport was received by Skomarov’s passport only in January 2024 and probably in order to sell the house and car already under Russian legislation, ”the Informant notes.

Documents received by journalists testify to the procedure for confirming the ownership of the Hyundai car next month after receiving the passport of the Russian Federation – in February 2024, and then its sale under Russian laws. Probably the same procedure happened with the house, which is listed in the declaration of Alexander Skomarov as a joint ownership with parents, the authors of the investigation say.

“After returning to Ukraine, according to the source of journalists, he (Skomarov’s father – ed.) Again went abroad on December 25, 2024 and could return to Novoaydar, Luhansk region that it was just impossible without a Russian passport. Finally, Skomarov-Sr. came to Kiev only recently, crossing the state border on March 21, already into the active phase of the competition with the Bab director, so as not to compromise the son. Instead, Skomarov’s mother left the occupied city in 2023 and she needed no passport for this purpose, ”the material said.

Journalists noted that the questions of Skomarov’s relations with pro -Russian politicians and suspected persons whose cases were investigating NABU remain unanswered. According to them, at the beginning of 2022, Skomarov’s wife, Olga, crossed the border on a Range Rover car, owned by Marina Khristenko, and at the wheel was Andrew Gaila.

Skomarov tried to save his sister, taking her on bail, but the court determined the pledge – UAH 2.1 million. The money was paid by the father -in -law of Skomarov, Igor Stefanov, who has no sufficient official income. Later, they tried to close the case, but the Supreme Court resumed consideration.

The competition for the selection of the director of the Bureau of Economic Security is becoming more scandalous – interviews with candidates have been postponed through information about the connection of several candidates with the Russian Federation. Currently, this information is checked by law enforcement officers, the interviews will continue on June 21.
