After the solemn passage, a large -scale state reception with an evening cultural show is planned, which will emphasize the “objective assessment” of the historical role of China and the USSR in victory over fascism.

In parallel, China emphasizes itself as a “guarantor of world stability”, organizing the event immediately after the SOS summit (August 31 – September 1). This should show that the country seeks peace but is ready for defense. Allegedly, in contrast to the “unpredictable US policy.”
