The Ukrainian Veterans’ Fund under the Ministry of Veterans Affairs reimburses up to 20,000 hryvnias for the purchase of items and goods for conducting veteran entrepreneurship. Veterans, their relatives, families of fallen Defensemen who are entrepreneurs or engaged in independent professional activities can receive compensation. The veterans’ fund reported this on November 11.

You can submit a request online. The following documents are attached to the application for reimbursement:

  • a document identifying the identity of a citizen of Ukraine (a copy of the applicant’s passport (all pages) or a copy of the ID card (both sides) and a copy of the residence registration statement);
  • for FOP – a document on acquiring the status of an entrepreneur by a natural person (a copy of an extract from the EDRPOU or another information resource containing current information about the FOP at the time of application);
  • for self-employed persons – a document on registration of a self-employed person;
  • a document confirming one of the statuses of a war veteran, a person who has special merits for the Motherland; injured participant of the Revolution of Dignity; a family member of a deceased (deceased) war veteran; a family member of a deceased (deceased) Defender of Ukraine (required);
  • in the event of a request by a veteran’s family member, documents confirming affiliation with a veteran’s relative are submitted (for example, a marriage certificate, copies of a birth certificate and documents confirming joint registration with the veteran at the same address (copies of the applicant’s and the veteran’s passports or statements of residence registration, etc.);
  • a document confirming the registration of a person as an internally displaced person (if available);
  • documents on the actual expenses incurred, related to the conduct of entrepreneurial or independent professional activities by a self-employed person, which can be reimbursed.

Please note that refunds are only paid for items already purchased, funds for planned purchases within the program are not paid. In addition, it is not allowed to re-reimburse expenses on the basis of a certificate based on which reimbursement of expenses has already been made to a veteran or a member of his family.

As reported by the Informant,

On November 10, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution that implements the mechanism of monetary payment for veterans with disabilities for converting their own cars to their needs. The largest amount of payment is up to 70 thousand hryvnias. Starting from January 2026, the payment will be provided to veterans with disabilities based on actual, documented expenses for the conversion of personal cars at specialized service stations that have the appropriate license.
