Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported on active interaction with allies to strengthen the air defense system and ensure the energy stability of the country. He emphasized that in response to daily Russian attacks, Ukraine is mobilizing international support for the rapid reconstruction of important infrastructure. Zelensky announced this in his official Telegram channel.

The President noted that the key directions of interaction with international partners are currently strengthening air defenses and supporting the energy sector, which is constantly under attack. Zelenskyi emphasized that energy workers, repair crews and rescue services are working on the ground, restoring facilities after regular shelling. The most difficult situation remains in the border and near-front areas.

“Practically every day, our power engineers, repair crews, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are engaged in on-site recovery after strikes: point hits are constantly taking place, and especially in our settlements near the border with Russia, not far from the front line,” the president noted.

The head of state added that Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions are among the regions most affected by Russian attacks. Zelenskyi also noted that Ukraine is working on establishing international relations for operational assistance in rebuilding critical infrastructure after enemy attacks.

  • On November 2, Zelensky reported that Ukraine had strengthened its anti-aircraft defense thanks to Germany.
  • On October 31, CNN reported that the Pentagon agreed to transfer Tomahawk long-range missiles to Ukraine, but the final decision rests with US President Trump.
