The Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jose Manuel Albarez, appealed to Europe to form its own army, as well as unite the defense industry. This will allow the continent to operate without dependence on other states and strengthen security.

Spain appealed to initiative to Europe We must have our own instruments of deterrence, without depending on other parties, – stated José Manuel Albarez in a conversation with EFE, calling on Europe to consolidate the defense industry and advance towards the formation of a European army.
Albarez also expressed an opinion on global threats.

The minister also emphasized support for Ukraine and condemned Russian aggression.
The only danger for Ukraine and the stability of Europe is Russian military formations in Ukraine. Neither Ukraine, nor the European Union, nor NATO have ever been a threat to Russia.
The minister emphasized the importance of European leadership and independence, criticizing far-right forces that seek to weaken the European Union and undermine democratic foundations.
He is also in favor of modernizing the UN and electing a new secretary-general from Latin America, preferably a woman, so that the organization reflects current challenges.
