In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Skoda Octavia, the Czech automaker has introduced a striking new color named Dragon Skin. This vibrant hue was selected by fans of the brand through a social media voting campaign.
The announcement was made by Skoda’s UK division, highlighting that Dragon Skin will be available for the Octavia liftback and estate models. Fans voted on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, where Dragon Skin competed against other color options, Storm Blue and Tangerine Orange.
Orders for vehicles featuring the new color will commence on March 4, with an additional charge of $1,152 for this exclusive option. Notably, Dragon Skin will be offered for only three versions of the Octavia, specifically the Octavia vRS hatchback and estate, as well as 130 units of the Octavia Sportline.
This new color joins the existing palette that includes Waterworld Green and Space Violet, both of which were also chosen through fan voting. Photographs of Dragon Skin reveal an intriguing blend of yellow and green, promising a more vivid appearance in person.
