Renault Duster Crowned Car of the Year in Ukraine 2026

The annual national competition “Car of the Year in Ukraine 2026” has announced its winners, with the Renault Duster taking home the top honor as the Car of the Year.

During the awards ceremony, several vehicles were recognized across various categories:

  • Best Passenger Car – CUPRA Leon;
  • Best Business Segment Car – Audi A6;
  • Best City Crossover – Citroen C4;
  • Best Compact Crossover – CUPRA Formentor;
  • Best Mid-Size Crossover – Audi Q5;
  • Best SUV – Volvo XC90;
  • Off-Road Vehicle of the Year – Mercedes-Benz G580 EQ;
  • Pickup of the Year – Peugeot Landtrek;
  • Best Electric Passenger Car – Audi A6 e-tron;
  • Best Electric Crossover – Skoda Enyaq;
  • Best Electric SUV – BMW iX;
  • Best Hybrid Crossover – Peugeot 3008 Hybrid;
  • Best Hybrid SUV – Hyundai Palisade HEV;
  • Best Premium Vehicle – Mercedes G580 EQ;
  • Best Family Van – Volkswagen Caravelle;
  • Best Commercial Vehicle – Peugeot Boxer;
  • Best Sports Car – Porsche 911 Turbo S;
  • Best Price-Quality Ratio – Kia Sportage;
  • Best Design – DS №4;
  • Breakthrough of the Year – Chery.

This competition has been held since 2001, evaluating vehicles based on both expert jury opinions and public voting conducted online.

Eligible models for the “Car of the Year in Ukraine” program must have been officially presented and available for sale in the country by January 1, 2026.

The winners in both main and additional categories are determined by the total points accumulated from the votes of both the public and expert juries.

The Renault Duster has been named the Car of the Year in Ukraine for 2026, with various other vehicles recognized across multiple categories during the awards ceremony. The competition, which has been running since 2001, combines expert and public voting to determine the winners.
