The dollar exchange rate for card payments at “PrivatBank” did not change on Thursday and is UAH 42.55. The exchange rate of the euro when paying by card today, January 23, also remained at the previous level and is UAH 44.25.

Exchange rates in Ukraine – the latest news On January 23, the National Bank set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at the level of UAH 42.03/dollar, i.e. the hryvnia strengthened by 14 kopecks. The official rate of the European currency was set at 43.87 hryvnias per euro, i.e. the hryvnia decreased by 23 kopecks.

The cash rate of the dollar to the hryvnia in banks on January 23 decreased by 20 kopecks and is on average 42.45 hryvnias per dollar. You can sell American currency in banks today at an average rate of UAH 41.90 per dollar. The average exchange rate of the euro against the hryvnia today increased by 8 kopecks and is 44.28 UAH per euro. You can sell European currency at the exchange rate of UAH 43.55 per euro.

It should be noted that on the world market the dollar traded in narrow ranges relative to major currencies. The currency is “stuck” due to the lack of specific statements on tariffs from US President Donald Trump.
