Privacy Pools will open private steiblcoin transfers

Onchin-confidentiality, Privacy Pools has announced the support of USDT, USDC and DAI steiblcoins in private transactions in Ethereum ecosystem.

The Privacy Pools was created by the 0xbow team, founded by Amin Suleimani and Zach Cole. The protocol is based on the Association Set Provider concept proposed by Vitalik Butherin in 2023 as an alternative to Tornado Cash. The mechanism allows you to maintain the privacy of onchin transactions while isolation of dubious origin.

Users connect a 0xbow wallet and make ERC-20 standard tokens. Using zero disclosure evidence (ZK-Dokazi), assets can be displayed to new addresses without disclosure of personal data.

The project has received funding from Bankless, Number Group, Public Works, as well as a number of business angels, including a sandpaper.

Earlier, Butherin called privacy “the greatest of the unresolved problems of Ethereum” and suggested his own vision of its solution.

In 2024, he described the possible use of cryptocurrencies in everyday life – in particular, to verify personality, reputation or credentials using ZKP.
