Donald Trump has completed the formation of his team. Most of the candidates for important positions are conservatives loyal to Trump, who fully share his views on domestic and foreign policy.
The vice president and secretary of state are former critics of TrumpUS Vice President JD Vance – previously a senator from the state of Ohio – has little political experience. It is interesting that a few years ago, Vance actively criticized Trump’s policy and spared no harsh words to describe his attitude towards him. He called Donald Trump “unfit for the highest office” in the United States, compared him to Hitler, said that Trump is an “opioid for the masses.” And JD Vance considered himself “a guy who will never be for Trump.”
And then he suddenly “changed his clothes” and already in the second election campaign Trump began to say that the above-mentioned words and his attitude towards the 45th president of the USA were wrong.
Vance actively opposes abortion, same-sex marriage, gun control, illegal immigrants. He repeatedly criticized childless families and proposed increasing taxes for the childless. He called the policy of the Democratic Party “anti-child”, and the representatives of the political force – sat lady (a derogatory term for women without children).

As for the attitude towards Ukraine: he was opposed to helping us, as well as a supporter of one of the most difficult options for the peace plan for Kyiv, which involves freezing the war and giving up the territories occupied by Russia and joining NATO.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio will head the US State Department. He also previously criticized Trump, calling him a “fraud” and “the most vulgar person to ever run for president.” But the political situation has completely changed and so has Rubio. He is now one of Trump’s staunchest supporters. This is evident from his position on Ukraine, which completely duplicates Trump’s intentions. Rubio also proposes to end the war in Ukraine through negotiations, adding that Kyiv cannot count on the return of all territories.

He is a real “hawk” who showed himself very harshly when he worked as the acting director of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. At the time, his methods seemed too drastic even for the Trump administration. Now it seems very likely that he will get carte blanche to solve the migration crisis.

“Caroline is smart, tough and has proven to be a very effective communicator. I am confident that she will help convey our message – that we will make America great again – to the American people,” Trump emphasized.
Leavitt is a convinced supporter of Trump, who is always ready to speak in front of the camera. She reacts quickly and aggressively defends him in television interviews.
The White House press secretary is usually the public face of the administration and traditionally conducts daily briefings for the press corps. Trump violated these norms in his first term as president, when he preferred to be his own chief speaker. During the period of his presidency in 2017-2021, four press secretaries changed, but the politician often preferred to interact with the public directly – at rallies, on social networks and in his briefings.

The national security adviser is a real colonelMike Waltz, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, a former “Green Beret” (the American equivalent of the SZH) and a retired National Guard colonel, who served in the US Army for more than 20 years, will become the adviser to the US president on national security issues. He was awarded four bronze stars, including two for valor. He described his military days in a book about “green berets”.
Mike Waltz is a longtime Trump supporter. Among other things, he shares the president-elect’s position on migration and support for Ukraine. In 2022, as a congressman, Waltz strongly supported the allocation of aid to Ukraine and even came to Kyiv.
But later he began to hesitate along with the “party course” and already in the spring of 2024 he was among those who blocked the allocation of a $60 billion American aid package to Ukraine.
“I think it is absolutely in America’s interest to stop Putin. However, the era of bottomless checks for aid (to Ukraine. – Ed.) coming from Congress has come to an end,” he said then.

As for Vivek Ramaswamy, he is as populist as Donald Trump and has always been hostile to Ukraine and its aid. In pre-election discussions, he called Volodymyr Zelenskyi a “Nazi”.
It is interesting that after coming to power, Musk and Ramaswamy will fully meet the definition of “oligarchs”. These are representatives of big capital, who have influence on politics, government, mass media and are the owners of many companies, and sometimes even occupy a monopoly on the market in certain sectors.
