Power Outages in Odesa Region Due to Equipment Failure

On the night of February 14, an emergency situation arose involving the equipment of an energy company in the Odesa region, resulting in temporary power outages for some consumers and critical infrastructure facilities.

According to energy officials, disruptions in electricity supply were reported in the Odesa district, particularly in Chornomorsk and partially in Odesa itself.

Specialists are currently working to restore power, while critical infrastructure has been switched to backup generators to maintain essential services.

In Chornomorsk, water supply is being managed according to a schedule, while in Odesa, specifically in the Kyiv, Primorsky, and Khadzhybei districts, technical water is being delivered to residents.

To assist local residents, 570 resilience points have been established in the region, which have served nearly four thousand people in the past day. Authorities are urging citizens to remain calm as emergency services continue their efforts to restore electricity.

An equipment failure in the Odesa region led to significant power outages affecting consumers and critical infrastructure. Emergency services are actively working to restore power while providing alternative support for water supply and community assistance.
