Poroshenko’s associates brought 145 thousand signatures to cancel sanctions against him to the council

MPs brought 145 thousand signatures to the Verkhovna Rada for the abolition of sanctions against Petro Poroshenko. This was reported by the co -chairman of the European Solidarity faction in parliament Irina Gerashchenko.

– We were unable to pass these signatures to the reception of the citizens of the OP, because it has a castle. OP itself is also hidden. But in the Verkhovna RSA there is a member of the NSDC, who voted for sanctions – Speaker Stefanchuk, immediately the representative of President Ms. G. Mikhailuk, so we demand to transfer these to these Signatures of the addressee,-she wrote in her telegram channel.

Another MP from the EU, Rostislav Pavlenko wrote that the reception room for the citizens of the President’s office is closed, because the corresponding section of Shovkovichna Street is “surrounded by post -bypasses of the government quarter”. He also stated that the electronic petition for the abolition of sanctions from the leader of political force on the President’s website was not registered. Therefore, the EU has collected “live” signatures.

• On February 12, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to impose indefinite economic sanctions to five individuals, in particular to Expatable Petro Poroshenko. The SBU stated that they were done because of the threat of state security.
• On February 25, Petro Poroshenko said from the podium of the parliament that his party “European Solidarity” does not share the Russian narrative about the illegitimacy of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
