Terms

From November 1, 2025 in Poland, the so -called collective placement centers (OZZ) of refugees from Ukraine will only be hosted by representatives of protected groups:

This includes retirees, pregnant women and people with disabilities.

Forms of assistance to Ukrainian refugees change according to needs.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Administration believes that now the moment when this type of support can be stopped,” he said.

How is it now
Today, more than half of the residents of collective placement are paid for accommodation and food in the center. During the first few months after arriving in Poland, everyone is entitled to free accommodation in the center.

After these 120 days, which are deducted from the first day of the entry of a citizen of Ukraine to Poland, the period of financial complicity begins.
For 6000 refugees from the outside of protected groups, a program “Together for Independence” is planned. The EU funds will be assigned to subsidize apartments for Ukrainians and to cover the costs of Polish language courses.

For example, 3,000 people are currently living in the collective housing centers in the Mazowietsky Voivodeship. More than 1000 more accessible places.
We will remind, almost 80% of active individual enterprises registered by foreigners in Poland from January to the end of April 2025 are managed by citizens of Ukraine, and 7% of FOPs are managed by persons with citizenship of Belarus – according to the Polish Economic Institute (Pie).

Among the companies registered by foreigners in Poland in 2025, 22% are related to construction, 15% provide telecommunications and information services, and 11% are engaged in other activities in the field of services.
