On June 10, OpenAi has released a new O3-Pro model for Chatgpt Pro subscribers and API users.
The model prioritizes high accuracy, stability and depth answers – in particular in the fields of science, mathematics, programming and education. According to the developers, O3-PRO provides better quality due to the more accurate setting and wide range of tools: from web viewing and analyzing files to the implementation of the Python code and understanding of images.
Openai states that the complexity of architecture and built -in tools can lead to a slightly longer time generation of answers compared to other models.
According to the updated Openai prices, the use of O3-Pro costs $ 20 for 1 million input tokens and $ 80 for outbreaks, while the base O3 has fallen up to $ 2 and $ 8, respectively, almost ten times cheaper.
According to the results of internal tests and academic assessments, O3-Pro exceeded the previous models by a number of criteria: clarity, accuracy, ability to follow the instructions and the completeness of the answers. In particular, the model successfully passed the 4/4 reliability test, answering the questions in all four repetitions. This makes it potentially useful for tasks, where precision and stability is critical.
