As part of a large -scale special operation, the SBU drones attacked military airfields in four regions of Russia, DW writes with reference to sources. In particular, the attached aerodromes of “Olenia” in the Murmansk region, “Belaya” – in Irkutskaya, “Diaghilevo” – near Ryazan and “Ivanovo” near the city of the same name.
More than 40 aircraft, including strategic Tu-95, TU-22M3 and A-50, were affected by the Russian airfields. Some of these aircraft were regularly used for attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Operation It was called the Web and caused the Russian aviation for more than two billion dollars. The operation was headed by the head of the SBU Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk.
Governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev stated that it was the first attack of drones in Siberia, and drones launched from the truck.
