-First of all, these are anti-aircraft drones, which, unlike the statistical FPV-arom, can rise to a great height from which the enemy now attacks our cities. The usual FPV-Dron rises to only 3 kilometers. And the anti-aircraft drone can cope with the height of 3-5 kilometers on its own, due to more powerful power units. That is a kind of anti -aircraft weapons with sufficient power and acceleration.
It is relatively cheap, now its cost is $ 2,000. But the cheapness is not its main advantage – above all it is a versatile and effective tool. The enemy adjusts to our air defense and experiment with various tactics. Therefore, it is impossible to exclude that the Russians will carry out the next modernization of “Shahaneda-136”. And in this case, the anti -aircraft drone – as part of the game for ahead, it is difficult to come up with something new.
-What are the modifications of anti-aircraft drones?
– Since the beginning of the war we have several modifications of these devices. But then they did not see the prospect, although they were no less relevant than it is now. And as of today, although delayed, we have the implementation of a large-scale project of anti-aircraft drones. But we are behind this issue. And the Russians are more likely to change tactics and modernize their “chess” than we integrate new tools that would be effective and profitable into our aircraft.
The potential of light -motor aviation – How can we resist Russian drones?
– This is light -motility screw aircraft. A video has recently been spread on the network when our lightweight plane JI-52 has been intercepted by a Russian reconnaissance drone. Yak-52 can knock down and repeatedly knocked Russian drones, but it is very risky. Yak-52 aircraft showed their high efficiency in intercepting reconnaissance drones, but they are not suitable for the interception of “Shahheda-136”. This is due to the fact that the interception of “Shahaned” with a fighting part of 90 kg, littered with shrapnell, is critically dependent on the skill of both the arrow and the pilot. The slightest mistake will lead to the death of the crew, and every time, knocking down such a drone, the crew is the risk.
-That is, what-52 in the Battle is not the best assistant?
-In general, the use of a lightweight Yak-52 aircraft is not a solution, it is a tool for hopelessness. The hopelessness that has arisen by ignoring the issue of purchasing light -motor aviation for years. If our pilots had analogues of modern light aircraft from those that have long been used in most European countries, there would be a completely different level of control of the rear sky. That is why such tasks require a full -fledged combat aircraft with appropriate TTH (speed, dumping, etc.) and especially with armored cabins.
– Can you give examples of such aircraft?
-such as Western samples of Super Tucano, OA-1K Skyraider II or Pilatus. Because our pilots, which are now hunting for reconnaissance drones and Shahhed-136, do it on the verge of physical capabilities and capabilities of the machine. When the Russian drone “Orlan-10” goes to a height of 5 kilometers, as-52 “breathes” and loses its course stability, and the same Super Tucano quietly works at a height of 10 km, and OA-1K Skyraider II-13 km. Super Tucano also has 4 machine guns 12.7 mm FN Herstal M3 for Browning M3 machine gun with a total ammunition of 800 rounds (4 to 200).
These aircraft have a low cost per hour of flight, about $ 2,000, and they are universal. But for some reason, we constantly refuse to see this idea, they do not see the prospects in it.
– But the logic in their use is obvious. Why then refuse?
– Probably because of the cost of such aircraft. One Super Tucano costs about $ 15 million and it’s expensive. But in his advantage, he can destroy up to three Shakhaned groups of 15 in each, in just two hours of flight. One “Shahaned” costs about $ 2,000, plus the cost of his ammunition. That is, for one departure, the Super Tucano aircraft can destroy the Shahaneda by almost $ 100,000. Per month – for three million. And at this rate, it can completely pay off in a few months.
In addition, the cover of at least three destinations of 3-4 such planes would allow the embryo to prevent the attacks of Russian “shamed” on a run to cities on the left and right bank of the Dnieper, not to mention the deep rear. That is, a hundred kilometers on a hundred kilometers in Kiev, Dnipro, Kremenchuk, in some cases – Odessa and even more of Zhytomyr and Khmelnitsky, a considerable part of these threats would be eliminated.
