The Ukrainian postal operator, Nova Poshta, will implement a price increase for its parcel delivery services beginning April 13. This decision has been made in response to rising operational costs, including fuel and energy prices, as well as expenses associated with partner services.
Under the new pricing structure, the cost for delivering documents within the city will be set at 70 hryvnias, while deliveries across Ukraine will be priced at 80 hryvnias. This fee includes a branded cardboard envelope.
City Delivery Rates Effective April 13:
- Up to 2 kg – 70 hryvnias;
- Up to 10 kg – 115 hryvnias;
- Up to 30 kg – 180 hryvnias.
National Delivery Rates:
- Up to 2 kg – 90 hryvnias;
- Up to 10 kg – 135 hryvnias;
- Up to 30 kg – 200 hryvnias.
Rates for Loads Exceeding 30 kg:
- Between city branches – 7 hryvnias per kg;
- Between branches across Ukraine – starting from 11 hryvnias per kg, depending on the tariff zone.
Nova Poshta will continue to offer free packaging for small parcels, branded envelopes for documents, as well as free re-addressing during transit and a commission for declared value up to 500 hryvnias.
Additionally, several services will maintain their current pricing, including:
- Parcel storage at branches;
- The “Transfer Point” service;
- Additional charges for sending from rural areas;
- Packaging for medium (up to 10 kg) and large (up to 30 kg) parcels.
Nova Poshta is raising delivery prices due to increased operational costs, effective April 13. The adjustments affect various weight categories for both city and national deliveries.
