President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wrote that Ukraine is waiting for a ceasefire tomorrow – full and long to give the basis of diplomacy. In addition, he reported that he would fly to Turkey in person to meet Putin there. Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he demanded that Ukraine go for negotiations with the Russian Federation to Istanbul.

– We are waiting for the ceasefire tomorrow – full and long to give the necessary basis of diplomacy. There is no point in delaying murder. And I will wait Putin on Thursday in Turkey. Personally. I hope that the Russians will not look for reasons why they can’t, ”Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

US President Donald Trump has stated that Ukraine should immediately agree to the Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Turkey on May 15, although they do not provide for a 30-day truce. Trump wrote about it on his social network Truth Social.

The US President said it considers it necessary to agree on Moscow’s proposal to start direct negotiations with Kiev in Istanbul on May 15, despite the fact that the Kremlin ignores the requirement of European leaders and Ukraine for a 30-day armistice. At the same time, he added that he already has doubts about the possibility of agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, and expressed his dissatisfaction with the fact that Moscow has assigned himself a victory over Nazi Germany.
