On May 13, Howang Guarantee fraudulent Marketplaces announced a closure of the large -scale lock of accounts on Telegram. However, according to Chainalysis, transactions remain high: the platform continues to process billions of dollars and demonstrates resistance to public infrastructure restrictions.
On May 1, the US Fincen’s agency recommended to disable Huione Group from the US financial system. The company was accused of assisting the Hacker group of Lazarus Group from North Korea in the legalization of cryptocurrency income.
Nevertheless, the platform not only did not lose volume – in some areas they even increased. Analysts say that Huione avoids the use of centralized exchanges, under the control of the US, which complicates regulatory influence.
