He noted that during his visit to Kyiv, “he saw with his own eyes the courage of Ukrainians, which is inspiring,” Voice of America reports.
The British minister assured that in 2025 his country will support Ukraine “in the struggle for its security and the security of the whole of Europe.”
In addition, British Defense Minister John Gealy announced a new aid package worth 225 million pounds during his visit to Ukraine. “We must work with Ukrainians to help motivate and mobilize more recruits,” the minister said.
The British minister said that he will hand over to his Ukrainian colleague Rustem Umerov a five-point plan on how Britain is going to increase support for Ukraine in 2025. In addition to increased training, it is also about providing new weapons, additional money and support for the defense industry.
