She noted that Cabinet Resolution No. 894 dated July 29, 2022 obliges all entrepreneurs (except for simplified group I, street trade and those who trade in the area of military (combat) operations) to ensure the possibility of cashless payments with customers, starting from 1 January 2025.
“The tax office does not forget to remind about strict compliance with these requirements. Without the Internet, cashless payments are impossible. No more than 60-65% of settlements have access to fixed Internet,” Yuzhanina explains the essence of the problem.
The People’s Representative called for urgent amendments to the aforementioned government resolution so as not to expose entrepreneurs to fines.
“We should finally deal with the work of providers in rural areas and do everything possible to ensure that the Internet remains where it was,” she added.
