Fedorov announced updates in the state educational ecosystem Dream for schoolchildren

State educational ecosystem (application and web portal) Dream in the current academic year will implement a nationwide system of gamification of education. Schoolchildren will accumulate Dreams – a virtual currency that can be exchanged for tickets to the cinema or other valuable rewards from partners for completed homework. They also integrate Kmytlyvky — exciting mini-quizzes, for participation in which you can get Dreamers. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

In Mria, the initial elements of gamification are already available — streaks (lights): they show the continuity of school days, form a habit of regularity; stimulate learning — maintain interest and motivate not to “fall behind the pace”; build positive interaction — learning is associated with achievement and satisfaction, not coercion.

“This school year, Mriya will implement a nationwide system of gamification of education. Schoolchildren will accumulate Dreamers – virtual currency that can be exchanged for tickets to the cinema or other valuable rewards from partners for completed homework. We are also integrating Kmitlyvky – exciting mini-quizzes, for participation in which you can receive Dreamers. Gamification in Mria supports efforts, rewards for interest and promotes development at its own pace. This is precisely what contributes to the realization of our goal – to inspire learning. Socially responsible companies that can become part of the ecosystem will also join the initiative,” Fedorov noted.
