In the 2025/26 academic year continues to provide state educational grants as a target mechanism Student support. Grants, allocated in 2024, can be continued, and for new entrants in 2025 this option will be available if the selection criteria are compliant. After confirming the certificate through the Action Action, the Ministry of Education and Science will publish an order for grant appointment and make payment for two tranches (50/50): the first – by December 1, the second – by April 1 of the academic year. The funds come directly to the educational institution. Users will receive notifications in the Action Appendix about transactions with payments.
Rules on payment of training and use of grant funds:
- Payment is made in accordance with the terms of the contract with the institution (including the contribution schedule).
- Upon receipt of a grant (after the MES order), the institution is obliged to reduce the amount of payment for the year by the grant.
- In case of prepayment for grant, the excess amount is returned to the student’s personal account within three months after transferring the funds of the institution.
- Overpayment = The amount of the grant received by the student + received by the institution – the annual cost of training.
The state educational grant is a targeted financial support that complements the system of government order, acting on the principle of “student funds”. The finances are transferred to the educational institution in accordance with the contract between the HUB and the student.
