On January 18, 126 combat clashes were registered on the front line, the enemy carried out 78 air raids and used 5,355 kamikaze drones. The greatest intensity was observed in the Pokrovsky section, where 39 attacks were repelled and 106 invaders were eliminated.

Today the enemy attacked 10 times South-Slobozhanskyi directionin the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Staritsa and in the direction of Grafsky, Nesterny, Krugli.

On Kupyansk direction the enemy tried five times to dislodge our units from occupied positions in the area of ​​Pischany and in the direction of Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, and Borivska Andriivka.

On Lyman direction The defense forces repelled four assaults in the Yampol area and in the direction of the settlements of Stavka and Oleksandrivka. One skirmish continues. In the Slavic direction, the enemy attacked three times in the area of ​​the settlement of Pazeno and in the direction of Rai-Olexandrivka.

On Kramatorsk direction the enemy did not take offensive actions. 15 combat clashes took place today in the Kostyantynivskyi direction. The enemy tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Shcherbynivka, Ivanopil’a, Kleban-Byk and in the direction of Berestka, Stepanivka, Sofiivka.

On Pokrovsky direction since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 39 times in the areas of Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Chervyn Liman, Kotlyna, Udachne and in the direction of Filia and Novopavlivka. Today, according to preliminary data, 106 occupiers have been eliminated in this direction, of which 64 are irreversible.

In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed four units of motor vehicles, two ATVs, 35 unmanned aerial vehicles, nine communication antennas, a EW device, three control points, two UAV control points and three shelters for enemy personnel. One artillery system, six units of automobile equipment, two EW devices, 12 shelters for enemy personnel were also hit.

On Oleksandrovsky direction Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by invaders in the direction of Ivanivka, Novy Zaporizhzhia, and Radisnoy. The settlement of Khvyli was hit by an airstrike.

On Gulyaipil direction 16 clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Gulyaipole, Zelene and in the direction of Varvarivka and Dobropill. Two of them are currently ongoing. Gulyaipole, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnya Tersa, Zaliznychne, Dolinka came under enemy airstrikes.

On Orihiv direction the enemy twice tried to break through our defenses in the area of ​​Plavni settlement. The settlements of Zhovta Krucha and Tavriyske were hit by airstrikes.

On Dnieper direction at present, no offensive actions of the enemy have been recorded.

“There were no significant changes in the situation in other directions,” the General Staff added.
