“Modern power grids are the basis of a sustainable power system and uninterrupted power supply. Therefore, even in the war conditions, the DTEK of the DTEK network continue to modernize, reconstruct old ones and build new energy objects. All in order to supply electricity as possible. It is noted that 13.8 thousand km of electricity, 5.8 thousand energy objects were repaired for prevention of accidents and the creation of additional resources for the consumption of DTEK’s energy power, and almost 10 thousand km of highways under electricity routes were cleared from shrubs.
Within the framework of the investment program approved by the NERCE, the DTEK has modernized more than 350 km of electricity and strengthened more than 350 substations, transformer and distribution points. Thus it was possible to improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply for more than 450 thousand families of Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and the capital.
Energy also installed more than 213,000 smart electricity meters in customers’ homes. Such devices automatically transmit impressions and save 50% on the power consumption of electricity at night due to the electricity accounting separately in day and night hours.
Recall that in 2024, DTEK invested about UAH 11 billion in the restoration of thermal power plants after Russian attacks, as well as in support of stable coal production.
