On Tuesday, Millalan demonstrated a halo collar on ABC News Live – A smart device that uses artificial intelligence to help dogs be safe and behave well. The collar whose co -founder is Milllan creates invisible borders and helps control dog behavior.

According to the company’s website, the Halo collar uses GPS to create wireless fences and includes real-time tracking through a smartphone app.
The device works by sending gentle notifications – whistles and vibrations – when dogs approach the boundaries set by their owners. During the demonstration, Millan showed how a collar helped a dog named Pluto stay in safe areas, even if they met just a few minutes ago.
But technology is not everything, Milllan emphasized. The key to the good behavior of the dog is still reduced to the basis of exercise and regularity.

“Over my 20 years, I see that people do not follow the sequences in exercise, walks and running,” Milllan said. “Everyone is well given, but they often do not follow walks and rules.”
Dog owners who want to start training, Milllan recommend that you first master the walk.
“The more you walk with the dog, the more you contact him,” he said. However, the way you walk matters.
Millan advises to keep dogs next to them, not allow them to lead you, which helps to maintain calm energy. This approach works for dogs of any age, Milllan stressed.
“I rehabilitated dogs at 12, 13, 14,” he said. “While the body can do it, you can rehab.”
Above all, Millan emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and silence during training.
“If you want to change the dog’s behavior, practice a little more silence, practice a little more rest and understand how the dog’s mind works,” he said. “Then you can have the best relationship with the dog.”
